Navratri Ghee Making
Yesterday we prepared ghee in the Lakshmi Kitchen in honor of the Goddess Lakshmi, with gratitude for the abundance and beauty she bestows into our lives.
Navratri is a Hindu festival celebrated over nine nights to honour the Goddess Durga, the divine feminine in all her forms celebrating the triumph of good over evil.
The first three days of Navratri are dedicated to Durga, followed by three days of Lakshmi ending the nine day festival with dedication to Saraswati. We are currently on the fifth day, the second day of Lakshmi celebration.
