A quick recovery for our 11 year old patient Elva Rose from her urticaria

Urticaria is called Sheetapitta in Ayurveda.

Sheetapitta is a condition described in Ayurveda as a skin disorder characterized by allergic reactions, similar to hives or urticaria.

Our little patient was given a classical Ayurvedic medicine containing turmeric and other herbs and within less than 30minutes most symptoms were completely resolved.

Our little patient was advised to have less:

    salty food especially Vegemite

    iced drinks

yeast products such as her favourite brioche buns

    spicy food

    fermented food

    seafood, specifically sushi

    And less sun exposure!

    Beneficial herbs in Sheetapitta

Haridra (Turmeric): Has anti-inflammatory and antihistamine properties.

Neem (Azadirachta indica): A natural blood purifier and skin detoxifier.

Amalaki (Indian Gooseberry): Helps in pacifying Pitta and boosting immunity.

Khadira (Acacia catechu): A potent anti-allergic herb used in skin disorders.

Triphala: A detoxifying formulation that helps in balancing the digestive fire and clearing toxins.

If you know anyone suffering from urticaria (sheetapitta) we would recommend to try Ayurveda.
