We are getting ready for an Abhyanga treatment in the Vata room today.

This is a dear and sacred ritual for our therapists before any treatment to set up a soothing and nurturing space for welcoming and grounding you, the living being at the centre of our Ayurvedic offering. 

Curtains are drawn, oil is warmed to a delightful temperature, Bashpa Sveda (the steam box you will sit in at the end of the treatment) is pre-heated, tea is on, and bell are ringing to rise the vibration of the room.
