3 Post-Pregnancy Tips.
The time after giving birth is crucial in the well-being of both the baby and the mother. We understand that this time can be overwhelming for all involved. Check out three 3️⃣ easy tips below.

Vata is increased after the birth of a child. Imagine this - the entire space where the baby was being held within the mother is now holding increased air and space after the baby is born. If there is too much space and air within the body, we know that Vata will increase.

    1. Belly wrap.

        1. There are a number of different belly wraps available. We suggest a bamboo belly wrap for new mums. These help to support the regeneration of these muscles. Helps to reduce the excess air and space in the area



    1. DIET

        1. We understand that time is limited for new parents. However, food preparation doesn’t need to be time consuming. Easy to prepare porridge topped with ghee and honey, homemade Kitchari and other Ayurvedic recipes are great for nourishing the entire family during this time of integration. Add some fenugreek to your Kitchari to help increase lactation. These are Vata balancing recommendations to help bring regularity into daily life.

        1. For both the mum and baby! Also great for balancing Vata in the body and calming the nervous system.
