Up your grape intake this summer. Ayurveda considers grapes to be the best among all fruits 

They certainly pack a bunch of medicinal benefits from anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, cardiovascular disease, eye health and many more ?️✅

Ayurveda has many indications for the usage of grapes, one of them being treating thirst. Perfect for hot weather

The Ashtanga Hridayam states that grapes:

    • Act as an aphrodisiac

    • Are beneficial for eye health

    • Helps eliminate urine and faeces

    • Is sweet in taste and at the end of digestion, unctuous, slightly astringent, and cold in potency.

    • Treats diseases of Vata, Pitta and Rakta 

    • Helps to relieve intoxication

  • Useful in treating cough, fever, dyspnoea, hoarseness, injury to the lungs and tuberculosis 

Try making your own thirst quencher at home.

  1. Pour half a glass of grape juice, dilute with half a glass of water, and add 1 tablespoon of Aloe Vera juice and a few drops of Rosewater 

Enjoy room temperature. Remember to avoid adding ice to your drinks! ❌
