Mint Lemonade Recipe
Ingredients:
Juice of 1 lemon
4 cups of filtered water
1 tablespoon of coconut sugar
2 tablespoons of mint leaves
Combine all the ingredients in a large glass jug. Stir Stir Stir. Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled. Garnish with a slice of lemon and a sprig of mint
Watermelon Mint Juice Recipe
Note! Watermelon is beneficial for Vata and Pitta but has an aggravating effect on the Kapha Dosha.
Ingredients:
1/2 watermelon peeled, seeded and diced
1 tablespoon of mint leaves
Add a pinch of salt
Place it all in a blender and puree until smooth. Enjoy as it is or pour through a fine mesh sieve (Elva prefers her juice strained and slightly diluted with water)
