    Summer Beverages
    Swap the soda and caffeinated, sugary drinks this holiday season with our Mint Lemonade and Watermelon and mint recipes. Great for hydrating and staying cool in this hot weather

    Mint Lemonade Recipe 

    Ingredients: 

      • Juice of 1 lemon

      • 4 cups of filtered water

      • 1 tablespoon of coconut sugar

      • 2 tablespoons of mint leaves


    Combine all the ingredients in a large glass jug. Stir Stir Stir. Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled. Garnish with a slice of lemon and a sprig of mint

    Watermelon Mint Juice Recipe 

    Note! Watermelon is beneficial for Vata and Pitta but has an aggravating effect on the Kapha Dosha.

    Ingredients:

      • 1/2 watermelon peeled, seeded and diced 

      • 1 tablespoon of mint leaves 

      • Add a pinch of salt 


    Place it all in a blender and puree until smooth. Enjoy as it is or pour through a fine mesh sieve (Elva prefers her juice strained and slightly diluted with water)
